Coupon class

I went to a coupon class on Thursday evening.  It was my first one!   Learning most of what I already know online, I decided to attend and see what more information the instructor had to offer.  I was please to realize that I had already learned most of what she taught us on my own, and hadn't missed out on much.
One topic that did spark my interest is obtaining coupons.  This seems to be a controversial issue.  The instructor advised the class to buy certain high value items from 3rd party vendors such as ebay.  I have read articles recently that say the practice is unethical and illegal.  I personally buy newspapers and clip my own coupons or print them from legitimate websites online.  I have considered purchasing them to save time.
What are your thoughts?

Clipping coupons!

I am fairly new to coupon clipping/shopping and have already saved a ton of money, thanks to friends, family members, and the worldwide web!  Learning the process was a bit daunting for me, as I am not naturally organized, so it really takes work for me. It's definitely worth it for me, with two teenagers in the house and home for the summer though!  I have been able to use items purchased for little or nothing for gifts as well.
I will definitely continue to do this and look for ways to make my job easier all the time.

Pro-couponers sugguest buying one newspaper per family, per family member.  I try to buy between 2 and 4 newspapers per week, depending on what the inserts are in that week's paper.  However, cutting all of the coupons is not really fun.

I have a system down that saves time and will share it later on, but today I found a video on YouTube that really impressed me! I think the guy needs to learn how to clean his stove, but otherwise, good information.  :)
I'm sharing this video here and hope it helps you too!  Enjoy!

A way to earn free things!

I created this blog as a way to express and share my love for many things, including saving money!

Many of us do online searches daily and get nothing for it , but it does not have to be that way! In fact, you can earn FREE STUFF for doing the same things you do online every day.

Just sign up at Swagbucks and search, play games, or even shop through their online shopping mall to earn points for everything you do. You can then exchange those points for gift cards or merchandise in the Swag Store!  Check it out here: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Diva72mom

I started using it at the beginning of the year and have already purchased $30 in Amazon.com gift certificates. I have more points to redeem soon.  These will come in handy since my son's birthday is coming up and he wants a tent and camping gear!
